Mark Vientos brings Mets’ NLDS party to Game 1 of Liberty final

Mark Vientos brought the Mets’ playoff celebration in Queens to the WNBA Finals in the borough next door.

The Mets third baseman was one of the many stars in attendance for the Liberty’s 95-93 Game 1 overtime loss to the Minnesota Lynx on Thursday night at Barclays Center, and he got a hero’s welcome.

The scoreboard hanging over half-court showed a replay of Vientos’ first home run in Game 2 of the NLDS before going live to Vientos, who was wearing a black baseball hat and sunglasses.

As the camera panned to the slugger, the large Brooklyn crowd roared in excitement before he gave a peace sign and heart hands, eventually clapping for all the applause and cheers he was getting from the packed house.

It’s been a wild ride for the Mets and Vientos, who clinched their spot in the NLCS after a thrilling Game 4 win over the Phillies on Wednesday night.

The corner infielder’s bat has played a huge role in this run for the Amazin’s, as he’s recorded 12 hits — including two homers — with a 1.181 OPS in seven postseason games.

He had two hits and a walk in the clinching game, helping the Mets set up a date with one of the Southern California teams — the Dodgers or Padres — in the next round.

“It’s for sure surreal what’s going on,” Vientos said after Game 1 win, “and I’m excited to keep continuing this.”

Aubrey Plaza, Jason Sudeikis and director Spike Lee were among the A-list celebs also in attendance.
