Aaron Taylor-Johnson shares rare photos with stepdaughter Jessie to celebrate her 18th birthday: ‘Still my babygirl’

Aaron Taylor-Johnson can’t believe his “babygirl” is 18!

The “Bullet Train” actor, 34, celebrated his stepdaughter Jessie’s milestone birthday on Tuesday by sharing rare photos of the duo to his Instagram Story.

“Happy birthday BabyGirl 💕,” he captioned the first flick — a throwback photo of the pair sharing a sweet embrace.

The second selfie seemed to be taken a bit more recently, with Taylor-Johnson wrapping one arm around Jessie.

The movie star made a kissy face while the teen flashed a soft smile as they stood on a grassy lawn.

“18 now…still my babygirl 💕,” he wrote atop the image.

Along with Jessie, the “Kick-Ass” star is stepdad to daughter Angelica, 26, with wife Sam Taylor-Johnson, 57.

The British director also gave the birthday girl a special shoutout on Instagram, writing, “18 ❤️ My darling Phoenix ❤️ Happy Birthday. You are everything and more. I love you. I am so proud to be your Mummy.”

Sam shares the two girls with ex-husband Jay Jopling, whom she was married to from 1997 to 2008.

Meanwhile, Sam and Aaron share two children of their own — daughters Wylda, 14, and Romy, 12.

The couple met in 2008 when the then-18-year-old auditioned for the lead role in Sam’s directorial debut, “Nowhere Boy,” in which the actor played a young John Lennon.

Aaron popped the question after just one year of dating.

“We were very professional through the entire film … But everyone on set knew,” Sam told Harper’s Bazaar in 2019. “And as soon as we finished, he told me he was going to marry me. We had never been on a date, or even kissed.”

Aaron added, “And a year to the minute after we met, exactly one year to the minute, I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me.”

The couple welcomed their two daughters before finally tying the knot in June 2012.

The couple wed in 2012 after four years together.

Despite scrutiny over their 24-year age gap, Sam recently told the Guardian that it has “never” been an issue for them — or their children.

“It is just people upset with their own sadness; with misgivings about their own life,” she told the outlet, noting that her children don’t seem to “care” about the criticism either.

“They see two loving, happy parents, so it doesn’t really register. They just think people are a bit mean, or mad.”

The “Back to Black” director noted that her marriage to Aaron has already outlasted her first marriage.

“So, if you think of it in that way, then the age gap doesn’t really make any difference,” she said.

Aaron shared a similar sentiment during an August interview with Esquire, telling the outlet they’ve got “nothing to hide” and he feels “secure in what [they] have.”

“I enjoy the normality of things, the everyday stuff,” he told the outlet. “Getting my kids ready in the mornings, taking them to school and activities—that’s plenty. That feeds my soul.”
