Comedian who impersonates Kamala Harris files $20M NYC suit against Morgan Stanley banker’s son over ‘attempted murder’

A stand-up comic known for doing impressions of Kamala Harris has alleged in a new $20 million Manhattan lawsuit that the son of a Morgan Stanley banker tried to kill her in a “jealous rage.”

Sienna Hubert-Ross, 25, accuses her ex-boyfriend Oliver Lane — whose dad is the head of Morgan Stanley’s European real estate division — of punching her, shoving her into a stove and trying to suffocate her with a pillow inside of their Lower East Side apartment on Aug. 8, according to court papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court.

Lane, 26, was arrested after what the suit calls a “horrific” attack and has been charged with felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault, court records show.

Six days after the attack, Hubert-Ross had a previously scheduled audition for a “very well known broadcast television show, the suit says.

She went to the audition, but was covered in bruises and suffering from the mental trauma of the attack — and was not offered the role, the lawsuit adds.

Photographs included in court documents show Hubert-Ross with extensive bruises and scratches.

Lane, according to the suit, attacked Hubert-Ross in a jealous rage which erupted after the pair met earlier that night at O’Hanlon’s Bar on E. 14th St., with another friend that Hubert-Ross had a “romantic encounter” with years earlier.

Later that night, Lane also confessed to sending “intimate” texts to his ex-girlfriend during a time in which he had agreed to “exclusively” date Hubert-Ross, the suit says.

After his infidelity was exposed, Lane yelled expletives at Hubert-Ross and then “violently threw her into a stove” before dragging her into the bathroom and throwing her into the tub, the suit alleges.

Lane ignored Hubert-Ross’ pleas that they simply break up and for him to stop hurting her further, and responded instead, “You ruin f—king everything,” court papers claim.

During the vicious attack, Hubert-Ross managed to call her mother, who she put on speaker phone and who witnessed the sickening abuse, the lawsuit says.

The comedian also texted a friend, who called the police. Responding cops then arrested Lane, the suit says.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office believed at Lane’s arraignment hours later that the case was strong and that the attack was extremely violent, according to a law enforcement source.

Prosecutors asked a judge to set bail at $20,000 cash or $60,000 bond. But Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Valentina Morales ordered Lane released while issuing an order of protection.

Lane is due back in court November 20.

His attorney in the criminal case did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment, and it was unclear Tuesday who was repping him in the civil case.

Hubert-Ross’ lawyer, Brett Gallaway, said in a statement that Lane “will now be forced to answer for his crimes,” adding that “we look forward to ensuring he pays for his cowardly actions.”
