Gogglebox star Roisin Kelly has accused a driver of ‘faking a heart attack’ after her car was involved in a crash.
The TV personality, who joined the beloved Channel 4 programme in 2022 with her boyfriend Joe, shared an update on social media revealing a picture of her car which had been smashed up at the front.
‘This is my idea of a highly inconvenient week,’ she wrote.
It’s reported that her two-door car was forced into a tree after being hit from behind, causing damage on both ends.
In a video that appears to have been deleted, Roisin called the driver ‘irresponsible’ and said the car had been parked when it was hit.
According to MailOnline, she said: ‘We weren’t in the car. But what was more irresponsible was the driver.
‘(The driver) sent my beautiful little Adam to the car park in the sky.
‘He was clearly on his phone and also simultaneously attempting to break the sound barrier.
‘(He) got out, faked a heart attack, and when he was getting oxygen got a taxi home.’
Fans rushed to the comments to share their well-wishes, while Roisin also took to Instagram and revealed she was bruised from an apparently unrelated incident.
She shared videos of large bruises on her upper arm, writing: ‘It is time for the party clogs to be hung up for good.’
After posting her ‘weekly dump’ including the car crash, she added on another Story: ‘This weekly dump is exactly what I get for being a smug b****** in the week prior and for the people cursing me for seeing Chappel Roan I can confirm the karmic cycle has brought me down a peg and balance has been restored.’
Glaswegian couple Roisin and Joe joined Gogglebox in 2022 and quickly became firm fan-favourites.
Announcing their casting at the time, she wrote: ‘I still cannot quite believe this is happening or that we kept it a secret or that so many people will have seen me looking like a baked bean! Gbox here we come.’
