Affected areas will be under a boil-water advisory once service is restored Saturday afternoon.
Water has been shut off for some Pointe-Claire residents after a water-main break was detected Friday.
The break is at Cartier Ave. and Bord-du-Lac-Lakeshore Road. The city is asking people to avoid the area.
Water should be restored early Saturday afternoon, the city said. A boil-water advisory will then be in effect for the disrupted areas.
The affected areas are:
- Bord-du-Lac-Lakeshore Road between St-Joachim and Victoria
- De Lourdes
- Ste-Anne
- St-Joachim
