The Cowboys are holding their breath with one of their biggest stars getting carted off the field on Thursday night.
Edge rusher Micah Parsons was taken to the locker room on a cart late in the fourth quarter of their 20-15 win over the Giants after suffering an apparent lower-leg injury.
After the game, the Cowboys told reporters that an X-ray on his left foot and ankle.
He is expected to to get an MRI Friday.
With 3:30 left in the fourth quarter, Parsons was rushing Giants quarterback Daniel Jones when he got tangled up with New York’s offensive line before going down to the ground.
He was attended to by the training staff before being helped to the sidelines.
Parsons was then placed on a cart with his left cleat removed.
The Parsons injury came just moments before the Giants suffered their own injury nightmare, when stud rookie Malik Nabers came out of the contest with a concussion.
Before exiting, Parsons had two tackles in the game.
