Rest of Mets-Braves series postponed by weather as Monday doubleheader looms

The Mets and the Braves will not play the rest of this week after all.

Wednesday’s and Thursday’s ballgames at Truist Park in Atlanta have been postponed, The Post’s Joel Sherman and Mike Puma reported.

The plan is now to play the games Monday as a doubleheader.

Thursday’s forecast looks rough with Hurricane Helene coming up the southeastern portion of the U.S.

The Mets, one game up on Atlanta for the final wild-card spot, are slated to play three games in Milwaukee this weekend.
