Cadillac’s entry-level EV, the 2025 Optiq, starts at $60,000

The luxury crossover SUV slots just below its slightly larger Lyriq sibling, and will arrive in Canadian dealerships in late 2024

The other two higher trims available are the imaginatively named Sport 2 and Luxury 2, which both come with an MSRP of $63,999, or $67,298 after fees. All four trims of the 2025 Optiq come only in all-wheel-drive, though a single-motor FWD is rumoured to be on the way.

It will be a global model sold around the world, and has in fact already hit the market in China. The Optiqs you’ll see on Canadian roads – they’ll be in dealerships in late 2024, but you can place your order now – will be built in Mexico, starting this fall.
