Frédéric Beauchemin is running for Quebec Liberal leadership and wants to take the party out of its comfort zone.

Frédéric Beauchemin thinks Quebec is going in the wrong direction but is he the captain to correct course? According to Beauchemin “the CAQ has been a drunken sailor on spending” and the consequences are being felt by Quebecers.

Throwing his hat in the ring for Quebec Liberal leadership, Beauchemin wants to take the Quebec Liberals out of their Montreal comfort zone and expand messaging to the regions.

“We need to be talking about the priorities of the regions. Everybody wants an economy that’s going to work for all Quebecers. No matter what the CAQ says they are not the party for the regions. On the ground that’s not what people are saying.”
