Cops shoot down bogus report of explosives found near Trump’s LI rally site

Police said Wednesday there was “no validity” to reports explosives had been found near the site of former President Donald Trump’s Long Island rally.

A Nassau County Police spokesman denied the claims circulating on social media — just hours before Trump’s campaign event was set to take place at the Nassau Coliseum.

The unconfirmed reports earlier had wrongly claimed that an explosive device was discovered in a vehicle during security checks at the rally site, cops said.
