President and CEO of USA Gymnastics, Li Li Leung, and her husband, Christopher Smits, are listing their Central Park South home in New York City for $1.25 million — down slightly from its $1.29 million ask in June.
They bought the one-bedroom residence, which is at the Southmoor House condop at 230 Central Park South, in 2015 for $1.23 million — slightly over its $1.1 million ask, following a bidding war.
The same year, Leung and Smits had returned to the United States after living abroad for around 10 years, where Leung’s accomplishments while working for Zhou Marketing, for a time, included helping the NBA establish itself in China.
As president and CEO of USA Gymnastics, Li Li Leung coordinated a settlement with its sexual abuse victims. She also created an all-female executive team, according to reports, and led the scandal-plagued company out of bankruptcy. In 2019, she was an NBA exec when she left to become president and CEO of USA Gymnastics.
Leung is also a former gymnast. She was 7 when she started in the sport.
The apartment is around 800 square feet, and comes with high ceilings and an oversize open living and dining area.
