Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) said Wednesday her office had received a “very serious shooting threat.”
“This division and hate campaign against Republicans is going to get someone killed,” the congresswoman, who represents Florida’s 13th District, said in a statement on X.
“I will not be threatened, intimidated, or bow down to those using violence as a means to push their agenda. We will win.”
Luna, a staunch ally of former President Donald Trump, didn’t elaborate on when the threat was made or offer any further details.
It comes just days after she claimed she had been doxxed and had threatening packages sent to her home after her former Democratic opponent labeled her a “threat to democracy.”
“I will continue to fight for the wonderful people who have elected me as well as those across the country that feel that they are being left behind,” she vowed Wednesday. ” Please keep my family in your prayers. Hate has no place here.”
