Eagles WAG’s Instagram takeover takes a sad turn with ‘heartbreaking loss’

The Eagles WAGs were having a blast until the Falcons beat the Eagles in a last-minute comeback, 22-21, on Monday night.

Some of the girlfriends and wives of the players enjoyed green jello shots while tailgating outside Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, as seen in photos and videos on Instagram.

“A heartbreaking loss,” Jordan Britt Lovato, the wife of veteran linebacker Rick Lovato, wrote in an Instagram Story takeover for “Women of the NFL” account. “Thanks for hanging with me though!

“Go birds,” she wrote, adding an emoji of a hand making a heart gesture. “XO.”

Niki Ikahihifo-Bender Mailata, the wife of offensive tackle Jordan Mailata, shared a photo of the couple on the field after the game.

“Focusing on my fave parts about tonight’s game, this man and this [Shopbop] outfit,” she wrote.

Kelsey Holmer, the girlfriend of Landon Dickerson’s girlfriend; Carolyn Stoll, the wife of tight end Jack Stoll; Taylor Driscoll, the wife of tackle Jack Driscoll; Kylie Mann, the wife of punter Braden Mann; Brooke Dickerson, the wife of guard Landon Dickerson; Sophie Calcaterra, the wife of tight end Grant Calcaterra, were pictured together at the tailgate.

Former Eagles center Jason Kelce — who joined ESPN as an analyst after announcing his NFL retirement in March — had too much fun while hanging out with fans tailgating at the Linc.

The future Pro Football Hall of Famer called Philadelphia superfan Ron Dunphy up on stage for a celebratory chest bump before the game, which went viral when Dunphy injured his knee after they collided in mid-air.

The atmosphere was much different when frustrated Eagles faithful left the Linc after Philadelphia’s collapse to Atlanta.

Quarterback Kirk Cousins, who’s coming off a torn Achilles, led the Falcons on a six-play, 70-yard game-winning drive with no timeouts left to secure a Week 2 victory on the road — despite the Eagles being favored to win.

The Eagles (1-1) face the Saints (2-0) in New Orleans on Sept. 22.
