12-year-old boy wounded in Herald Square shooting

A young boy was shot and injured in Herald Square Sunday night, police said.

At approximately 9:07 p.m., cops responded to a 911 call and found the 12-year-old shot and wounded in his left leg outside 124 W. 30th St., just a few blocks from Penn Station in the busy Herald Square area, according to police.

Police are still investigating the shooting and no arrests have been made. William C Lopez/New York Post

He was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, cops said.

It wasn’t immediately clear if the victim was a target of the shooting.

No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing, police said.
