Jennifer Aniston nearly didn’t get into the Emmys — and one actor saved her from embarrassment

The one where Jennifer Aniston almost didn’t get into the Emmys.

The actress, 55, attended the 2024 Emmy Awards in Los Angeles Sunday, but the night didn’t start off smooth for her.

Aniston’s ticket wouldn’t scan through security for two minutes at the Peacock Theater, according to USA Today.

As she waited to get in, the “Friends” alum “stared away with a look of fixed serenity,” the outlet reported.

Luckily, an unnamed onlooker vouched for Aniston to enter the building.

“Why are you not letting her in? You know who this is!” they yelled out, per USA Today.

At that point, Aniston got past security and joined the red carpet, where she posed for pictures and did interviews.

After entering the theater, she ran into fellow nominee Robert Downey Jr., who helped her shake off the incident by suggesting they take a photo together.

“Let’s go,” the “Sympathizer” star reportedly told Aniston as he put his arm around her.

“This one is going to travel,” he added.

The Post has reached out to Aniston’s rep for comment.

Aniston scored an invite to the Emmys thanks to her role in Apple TV+’s “The Morning Show,” which earned her a nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. She’s also a producer on the show, which was nominated for Outstanding Drama Series.

The beloved actress wore a sparkling strapless Oscar de la Renta gown covered in elaborate beading to the awards show.

She accessorized her look with a diamond and platinum Tiffany & Co. ring, along with matching vintage earrings and a big bracelet.

During her interview with E! on the red carpet, Aniston talked about her “wonderful” “Morning Show” cast, which includes Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup and Mark Duplass.

“We have a no a–hole policy,” she said.

“We’re really lucky,” Aniston further noted about the cast.

She went on to gush over Witherspoon, 48, who was also nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

“We grew up together and we were kids together and now we’re grown-ups together,” said Aniston.

“Being able to produce the show with her … I couldn’t ask for a better partner,” she added.

Aniston and Witherspoon were nominated in the same category at the Emmys, but they both lost to “Shōgun” star Anna Sawai.

However, Aniston is already an Emmy winner.

In 2002, she took home the trophy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Rachel Green on “Friends.”
