Aaron Taylor-Johnson looked the furthest he could from becoming to next James Bond as he filmed an explosive new movie in Kent.
The Bullet Train actor, 34, was pictured in full army gear alongside The Gentlemen star Theo James as they shot scenes for the upcoming film Fuze.
Directed by David Mackenzie, the heist thriller ‘opens on the discovery of an unexploded World War II bomb in a London construction site sparking a mass evacuation the perfect cover for a heist,’ according to a synopsis.
New photos show Aaron in character on set as he toted a large gun while filmmakers staged a terrifying action sequence with bullets flying and cars tossed through the air.
In the replica warzone, on the outskirts of Wrotham, Aaron could be seen pointing a large gun while gazing through the scope in full military attire.
Another snap showed him placing his hand on Theo’s shoulder, who was covered in dirt with his hands tied behind his back.
In another scene, Aaron can be seen cutting Theo’s character’s restraints after he was bundled out of a white pickup truck.
One onlooker described the noise that was created onset as ‘mind-blowing and terrifying’ in the usually peaceful village.
Fuze, which does not yet have a release date, comes ahead of Aaron’s big screen return later this year in Marvel’sKraven the Hunter.
The film is set to be released on December 13 starring Russell Crowe and Ariana DeBose, telling the story of the titular hero and his relationship with his father that leads him ‘down a path of vengeance’, according to a synopsis.
Aaron will also star alongside Bill Skarsgard, Willem Dafoe, Emma Corrin, Lily-Rose Depp, and Nicholas Hoult in Robert Eggers’ remake of Nosferatu, which will be released on January 5, 2025.
The star has been tipped to play James Bond in the upcoming film as Daniel Craigsteps down from the coveted role – rumours that Aaron has neither confirmed nor denied.
Elsewhere, attention has been placed on Aaron’s personal life as he was spotted without his wedding ring sparking split speculation.
The Fall Guy actor started dating his filmmaker wife Sam Taylor-Johnson, 57, in 2009 – when Aaron was 18 and the Back to Black director was 42 – after meeting on the set of John Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy.
After getting engaged the same year, the pair eventually married in 2012. They share two children (Wylda Rae, 14, and Romy Hero, 12) and even celebrated their marriage with a vow renewal on their 10th anniversary two years ago.
Their relationship, however, has not been without backlash with fans raising concerns over their wide age gap and how young Aaron was when they first got together.
The actor was in West London enjoying a solo dinner dressed in a grey hoodie and black trousers, and seemed to be engrossed in a phone conversation when passer-bys noted the lack of wedding ring.
