The injuries sustained by the motorcycle’s passenger are considered life threatening.
A woman was in hospital with life threatening injuries Thursday after the motorcycle she was a passenger on collided with an SUV at an intersection in the town of Farnham in the Eastern Townships.
The Sûreté du Québec said the incident occurred at the corner of Route 104 and Saint-Grégoire St. at about 3:15 p.m. The driver of the motorcycle was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The intersection was closed to traffic pending an onsite investigation by police.
