Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter Vivienne has stepped foot on the career ladder with a very normal job, it has been claimed.
The Changeling actress has spoken proudly about how much the 16-year-old loves the theater, and it seems as though she has taken this to the next level.
According to reports, she has been seen working as an usher at a venue in LA on Tuesday, for the Reefer Madness: The Musical reunion concert.
People Magazine reports that the teenager was spotted helping people find their seats at the Whitley, in Hollywood, after having attended the opening night event with her mom.
Kristen Bell, who starred in the original version of the 1998 production, posed for pictures with the pair at the bash in May.
Speaking to the outlet, she praised Angelina for making the trip and supporting the production.
‘She just said she wanted to come out and support,’ she said at the time.
‘Which I thought was a lovely gesture, particularly for a project that is launching in Los Angeles where it’s not the biggest theater community, or it maybe has a different identity than a New York community.’
The mom-of-six previously shed light on Vivienne’s love of theater after the youngster volunteered on her Broadway musical, The Outsiders.
‘Viv reminds me of my mother in that she isn’t focused on being the center of attention but in being a support to other creatives,’ she said in a statement announcing her daughter’s efforts. ‘She’s very thoughtful and serious about theatre and working hard to best understand how to contribute.
‘I studied at the Lee Strasberg Institute where I realized my first love, as a performer, was the theatre.
‘I had not found a way back until now. I hope to be able to contribute while continuing to learn from this amazing team, who I have been working with since my daughter brought me to see the show at La Jolla Playhouse.
‘I can’t begin to express how excited I am for this musical to make its Broadway debut and look forward to sharing this new adaptation of The Outsiders with the world.’
Discussing their working relationship, Angelina – who also shares children Maddox, Pax, Shiloh, Zahara and Knox with ex-husband Brad – confessed that Vivienne would often ‘correct’ her on things behind the scenes.
‘She’ll correct me. She’ll say, “Didn’t you read the memo? We have to do this, we have to go through this”.
‘She’s been a really tough assistant. She takes it very, very seriously.’
