Christina Hall denies claim Josh Hall was ‘blindsided’ by divorce: ‘Something’s not adding up’

Christina Hall slammed a recent report suggesting she “blindsided” estranged husband Josh Hall by asking for a divorce.

On Friday, the HGTV star, 41, vehemently denied TMZ’s claim that she called off the pair’s three-year marriage without warning, leaving the 43-year-old realtor “heartbroken.”

Christina reposted the article to her Instagram Story, reciting part of it before sharing her own take on the situation.

“‘Our sources say she stopped speaking to him after a disagreement and would only speak to him through an attorney,’” Christina quoted.

“Huh… I didn’t block him — and I didn’t see any missed calls or texts the next day,” she wrote atop a black screen. “Which happened to be my birthday. Strange — No flowers, no card, no messages like ‘Hope you have a nice birthday’ 🧐.”

Both Josh and Christina filed for divorce on July 15. While Josh listed their date of separation as July 8, Christina cited their split as July 7. Her birthday is July 9.

In her filing, the “Christina on the Coast” star alleged that she “communicated to Josh [on July 7] that [she] would be filing for dissolution.” However, he seemingly beat her to court.

In her post on Friday, the “Flip or Flop” alum noted that “something’s not adding up” between their differing recollections.

“But I’m down to keep playing ‘Christina Vs. The Victim’ as I love this game,” she concluded.

Christina broke her silence on the pair’s breakup on Thursday, calling Josh an “insecure man” after he allegedly transferred $35,000 of her “property rental income” into his personal account.

“I have worked my ass off to build this life for myself and my children and anyone who would try and take what they do not deserve/what they did NOT work for should be ashamed,” the TV personality wrote on her Instagram Story Thursday.

“An insecure man with a large ego can sure try and derail you,” she continued, noting that she will “rise” above the drama.

“For those that aren’t aware … divorces do not happen overnight … & there is always a breaking point,” she concluded. “This one is personal.”

In his divorce filing, Josh also requested spousal support and an equal split of rights to their HGTV and Discovery TV shows.

Christina, for her part, is requesting to terminate the court’s ability to award spousal support.

While the pair share no children together, the “Christina In The Country” star shares daughter Taylor, 13, and son Brayden, 8, with her first husband, Tarek El Moussa, and son Hudson, 4, with her second spouse, Ant Anstead.
