Jeff Bezos’ fiancée rocked a red dress featuring quite the unusual embellishment over the weekend, twinning with her friend Natasha Poonawalla in red Schiaparelli minis covered in acrylic fingernails.
“Best NY weekend. I think @natasha.poonawalla and I “nailed” our look ❤️😂” the 54-year-old helicopter pilot captioned a carousel of Instagram pics on Monday.
The strapless dress — modeled by Kendall Jenner on the couture brand’s spring/summer 2024 runway — was crafted from dozens of glossy fake nails affixed to a red sequined fabric, as shown in a video on Schiaparelli’s Instagram account last September.
And while the former journalist made a statement in the manicured mini, she wasn’t the only one rocking the red look; Poonawalla, 42, wore the same dress in a picture Sánchez shared on Instagram.
The future Mrs. Bezos accessorized her dress with a pair of massive diamond teardrop earrings, and while her outfit might have been crafted from scarlet nails, she kept her own a pale pink shade.
Her celebrity friends showed plenty of love for the look, like Nicky Hilton, who wrote, “Epic twinning moment 💃💃” and Jewel, who penned, “The cutest!!”
Several Housewives also weighed in on the nail-covered dress, like Lisa Rinna, who left two flaming heart emojis and Lisa Hochstein, who wrote, “Always gorgeous.”
This is far from the first time Sánchez has worn a fiery red ‘fit, with the star sporting everything from a sassy lace corset dress at a White House state dinner to a plunging red gown on the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars Party red carpet.
