Angel Reese’s Olympics break is off to an epic start

Angel Reese wasted no time catching a flight to Paris after she recorded a double-double in her first WNBA All-Star game on Saturday.

The Chicago Sky rookie traveled to Paris with her friend, Jasmin Reed, a former track and field sprinter at Oregon, as seen in a TikTok video Reese shared on Monday.

The pair then took in the US men’s basketball team’s 92-88 win over Germany at London’s O2 Arena Monday night.

Reese, who’s averaging a double-double in her rookie season, was introduced to the crowd during the US men’s team’s final tune-up before the Paris Games begin this weekend.

“A Barbie in London,” the WNBA wrote on X, including a video of the former LSU national champion sitting courtside next to Reed.

Taking to X on Tuesday, Reese responded to someone that that said it was her “best look” of the year.

“No way cause this was literally clothes off the rack cause i STILL DON’T HAVE MY BAGS,” Reese native replied.

She explained that her bag was lost in a separate post.

Reese told Story that she was still without luggage in another Instagram story post on Tuesday.

It came after the 6-foot-3 forward — whom the Sky selected with the No. 7 overall pick in this year’s WNBA draft — recorded 12 points and 11 rebounds in Team WNBA’s 117-109 win over Team USA in the All-Star game.

Prior to the Olympic break, Reese posted a video of her bikini clad while partying poolside with friends.

She currently leads the WNBA in offensive rebounds and is second behind A’ja Wilson, who leads the league in total rebounds.

Reese set a WNBA record with 15 consecutive double-doubles this season, surpassing Candace Parker’s previous league record of 12.

Reese, who was not named to the 12-player roster that will compete at the Summer Games, jetted off to the United Kingdom at the start of the Olympics break.

The WNBA will pause its regular season while the USWNT competes for their eighth straight — and 10th overall — Olympic gold medal in Paris.

The WNBA season will resume on Aug. 15, with Reese and the Sky taking on the Mercury in Chicago.

The Sparks take on the Liberty in Los Angeles that day, while Mystics face the Lynx in Minnesota.
