2025 Super Bowl odds, prediction:  Aaron Rodgers’ Jets closing in on Chiefs

It’s NFL training camp week in the NFL as the calendar gets set to turn August and and the season is ready to kick into high gear.

FanDuel has the Chiefs and 49ers tied for favorite status to win the 2025 Super Bowl, each coming in at +600 odds.

There is room for some slight changes to take effect, though, as 49ers receiver Brandon Aiyuk officially requested a trade and is seeking a new contract.

Whether he gets traded or not is unknown, but one could guess that San Francisco’s odds would take a slight hit if no extension is reached.

Regardless, the season is nearing and whether you’re looking at a home for a bonus bet or just want to wager with cold, hard cash, it’s time to start to start value hunting for the 2025 NFL season.

2025 Super Bowl prediction

In terms of a prediction for next year’s Big Game, the Chiefs are impossible to argue with, considering you’re nearly guaranteed to see them in the AFC Conference Championship — assuming health doesn’t derail their season.

Kansas City should only be better this season, while the Bills and Bengals lost some key pieces they’ve had over the past two seasons.

Sure, the Chiefs may coast through the regular season but their ability to turn it on during the playoffs is legendary and should not be trifled with.

Bonus bets you may have received in recent weeks should go on them if you’re looking for a likely outcome.

However, there’s another team further down the oddsboard that really intrigues at the price and that’s the New York Jets.

Last year, the Jets were in the 16/1 territory to win the Super Bowl after they brought in Aaron Rodgers, a move we never got to see to completion.

Since then, we learned that the Jets defense is among the fiercest in the NFL but the coaching is a clear question mark.

However, it’s easy to question coaching when your team runs a quarterbackless squad.

Winning cures that problem and Nathanial Hackett and Robert Saleh could become geniuses with a hot start.

Frankly, the odds at BetMGM and BetRivers at 22/1 are extremely enticing with the Jets having been at 16/1 last year and a weakened division in front of them.

The Bills are in salary cap hell and can’t improve their roster, while the Jets are willing to mortgage to the future to win this year.

They could easily win the AFC East.

Betting on the NFL?

The Jets are one of the most talented teams in football and are a bargain at this price, and should be worth a bet in a wide-open division.

For how you should bet, it all depends on how much risk you’re looking to take on in your futures bet portfolio, but these are the two I’m looking at preseason.

PICK: Risk-averse: Chiefs win the Super Bowl (+600, FanDuel/BetRivers) | Risk tolerant: Jets win the Super Bowl (22/1, BetMGM/BetRivers)
