Caudalie VinoHydra Sorbet Cream Moisturizer.

They say: A new moisturizer collection from the French brand Caudalie. The formulas feature ingredients like camomile, organic grape water, aloe vera and hyaluronic acid to hydrate and soothe skin. The revamped collection features three new formulas targeting specific skin types:  dry, normal and combination.

We say: These moisturizers are like calming cocoons of hydration for skin, our tester reports. Her redness-prone skin was soothed and nicely hydrated by the version for dry skin. Despite packing a punch of hydration, the formula felt comfortable on skin. The collection’s gel moisturizer, for combination skin, was also a fast favourite.

Ultra Violette Sheen Hydrating Lip Balm SPF 50.

They say: A tinted lip balm with a sun protection factor of 50. Featuring lanolin and shea butter to smooth lips, the product features both UVA and UBV filters.

We say: It can be easy to forget about the lips when we’re talking about sunscreen, which is why we love this combination tinted gloss-SPF product. In an easy-to-apply squeeze tube, the smooth balm gives lips a kiss of colour and non-sticky shine, along with much-needed sun protection. The pretty pink shade Bejewelled is a new go-to.

Byoma Hydrating Milky Toner.

They say: A hydrating face toner featuring the brand’s proprietary Barrier Lipid Complex, along with polyglutamic acid and cica (centella asiatica) to soothe sensitive, dehydrated skin.

We say: Looking for an extra dose of hydration for seriously dry skin? Consider this milky toner. Applied to clean skin before serum and moisturizer, our tester found this toner was like a power pack of moisture in a barely-there veil. Our tester applied the toner with a cotton round and found her skin “drank” it in.
