This is not the end of the leaderboard Tiger Woods is accustomed to.
Woods finished the second round of the British Open at 14-over par, only ahead of a few other competitors.
Any thought of him bouncing back from Thursday’s disastrous 79, were quickly erased when Woods double-bogeyed the second hole at Royal Troon.
Woods had five bogeys on his card and only one birdie — on the par-5 sixth hole — to shoot 77 on Friday.
Woods also missed the cut at the PGA Championship and US Open, while he finished last among the players who did make the cut at The Masters.
One of few players Woods did beat out was 2023 US Open champion Wyndham Clark who finished 16-over.
