Drea de Matteo has opened up about how her children are involved in her OnlyFans content, explaining her teenage son edits the photoshoots.
The 52-year-old is most known for her role as Adriana La Cerva in the Sopranos, appearing in all six seasons of the acclaimed program.
However, she struggled to find work during the global pandemic when she refused to have the Covid vaccine, and almost lost her home before turning to the adult subscription platform, and quickly making a fortune.
During an appearance on the Not Today, Pal podcast, she revealed that it was actually her children – son Waylon ‘Blackjack’, 13, and 16-year-old daughter Alabama – who suggested she should set up a profile.
Speaking to Sopranos co-stars Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Robert Iler, she said: ‘The bottom line is we were going to lose our house. The kids jokingly said to me, “Why don’t you put your feet on OnlyFans?” Because I have nice feet.’

Drea then took a moment to show the hosts some of the content that she had shot with Real Housewives of New York star Leah McSweeney, before quickly issuing an apology to her children, who she shares with Shooter Jennings.
‘They’re really f**king racy,’ she declared. ‘Blackjack and Alabama, my kids are out there. I’m sorry guys, I’m really sorry. But they know.’
‘Before you start, your son was outside saying he edits your OnlyFans photos,’ Robert interjected. ‘So, you don’t have to apologize to them.’
‘Oh yeah,’ their guest said casually. ‘He’s like, “So what do you want me to do with the bikini line here?”
‘They don’t see the girl shots. But I do go over that with them before I ever put them out.
‘I was like, “Are you okay with this?” If I were to do it in a movie – because I would make out with girls in movies all day long before I’d even make out with boys.’
At the time of writing, Drea charges $15 a month to access her uploads – she has posted 240 times and has more than 150,000 likes on her page.
The Desperate Housewives star previously discussed her decision to set up a profile, sharing that she was in dire straits and sought help for her mortgage repayments – but was trying to sell her home ‘before they took it’.
She also lost her mom, while her other mother suffered with dementia, and needed to pay her caregivers.
In just ‘five minutes’, her fortunes changed, sparking her decision to post further images and videos.
‘It saved us,’ the mom-of-two told DailyMail.com of her efforts. ‘OnlyFans saved my life, 100 per cent. I can’t believe I’m saying that, but it really did save us.
‘Anybody that wants to condemn me and put me down, go for it. I just hope you never find yourself in the position I was in to take care of two little kids.
