Carbon monoxide in Saskatoon parking garage sends four to hospital

Fire crews were called to the 100 block of Horner Crescent around 6 p.m. on Thursday.

Four people were sent to hospital suffering from the effects of carbon monoxide poisoning after an incident in an underground parking garage in Saskatoon’s Evergreen neighbourhood on Thursday.

Firefighters donned breathing apparatus and searched the underground parking garage, where they found three more patients.

A search through the rest of the building found “no other occupants,” the release said.

Fans were set up to ventilate the garage.

No information about the cause of the incident was released.
