One person sent to hospital after reportedly falling 30 to 40 feet from Canada’s Wonderland ride

The ride, previously called Swing of Siam, can seat 48 people and has a ‘thrill level’ rating of three out of five, meaning ‘moderate’

One person has been sent to hospital after reportedly falling from a ride at Canada’s Wonderland on Thursday.

“Park medical staff and EMS responded, and the guest was taken to hospital,” the spokesperson said. “The safety of our guests and associates is our top priority.”

An investigation into the incident is being conducted. How the person fell from the ride was not disclosed. The statements from the park and emergency services did not include the type of injury sustained, or the age or gender of the guest.
