Police say the crash involved two heavy trucks and two passenger vehicles.
A collision involving at least four vehicles took place Monday afternoon on Highway 640 in Terrebonne.
Emergency services were called at around 1:30 p.m. to Highway 640 eastbound, near Montée des Pionniers in the Lachenaie district, according to the Sûreté du Québec.
“According to initial information, there were at least two heavy vehicles involved, as well as two passenger vehicles. There would have been three transports to the hospital centre,” said SQ spokesperson Élizabeth Marquis-Guy.
A police officer specializing in collision investigation went to the scene to shed light on the causes and circumstances of the incident.
