Jake Bean is coming home.
Bean played most of his junior career with the Calgary Hitmen before being drafted 13th overall in the 2016 NHL Draft by the Carolina Hurricanes. He is the son of former Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation CEO John Bean – who remains with the company in a consultant role.
Bean, now 26-years-old, played 72 games with the Columbus Blue Jackets, scoring four goals and adding nine assists and posting a minus-10.
