The electric vehicle manufacturer had in 2022 issued a recall for suspension bolts that were improperly tightented
- A Rivian R1T owner has gone on reddit complaining of broken front suspension components
- The EV automaker recalled more than 12,000 vehicles in 2022 for improperly tightened steering bolts
- Other owners chimed in to say that they’d also had problems with the R1T’s steering
In the comments, another owner said the control arm bolt was loose on a freshly-delivered R1T; someone else chimed in and said they’d had their truck’s control arm bushing replaced, “then hit a bump, lost the wheel.”
