Cadillac shows off striking years-old ‘expressive’ coupe concept

The internal design study wasn’t meant for the public’s eyes—probably because GM didn’t want us nagging for it to be built

Anyway, there’s a new example to add to the “why-didn’t-Cadillac-build-this” side of the leger, and it’s an unnamed coupe from an unspecified number of years ago that the company just rolled out for the first time mid-June, at the Eyes on Design concours d’elegance. And I mean—just look at this thing.

Still, in our opinion, it wouldn’t take much updating to bring the “expressive” concept pictured here into 2025 and re-balance the should-have-built-versus-did-build tables. What do you think?
