Jennifer Lopez did a ‘very ballsy’ move before ‘The Boy Next Door’ sex scene, co-star says

Let’s get loud.

Ryan Guzman, 36, has spilled the “ballsy” move that Jennifer Lopez, 54, made when they filmed 2015’s “The Boy Next Door.”

On the Monday episode of iHeartRadio’s “Whine Down with Jana Kramer” podcast, he shared, “She brought pizza. I remember — mind you this is, like, right before our sex scene — so that’s very ballsy of you.”

He added: “Most people would only eat salad and whatnot. We here grabbing pizza.”

The 2015 thriller saw Guzman play a student and Lopez play a teacher who get into a steamy affair that soon spirals into obsession and violence. John Corbett and Kristin Chenoweth also co-starred.

The actor, who currently stars in ABC’s “9-1-1,” said that he “learned so much” from the “Jenny from the Block” singer.

“I think at the time, she was doing two television shows, a movie, a book and then prepping for a tour. I was like, ‘I feel lazy. I’m only acting on this movie.’ It was just a wealth of knowledge from her and an insight on the life of an A-lister. I was not prepared.”

When the movie came out, Guzman recalled cameras being “everywhere.”

“That was like a rocket ship,” he added.

Lopez’s penchant for publicity is also at the center of her rumored impending divorce.

Although she and Ben Affleck have not officially confirmed the rumors, there have been signs for months that Bennifer 2.0 is on the rocks.

Affleck, 51, and Lopez — a k a “Bennifer” — were initially together from 2002 to 2004. They ended their engagement in 2004, and went on to marry and have kids with Jennifer Garner and Marc Anthony, respectively.

J.Lo and Affleck rekindled their romance 2021 and tied the knot in 2022. They share a blended family of five kids. He shares kids Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with Garner, 52, while Lopez is mom to 16-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Anthony.

Rumors that they were heading for a split began surfacing when Lopez attended the 2024 Met Gala solo

Then, it was reported that Affleck is staying at a separate house from Lopez, and Lopez was also seen house hunting — without Affleck.

The couple’s $60 million Beverly Hills mansion was also listed on Zillow earlier this month.

When Affleck’s son, Samuel, 12, graduated earlier this month, Lopez arrived separately and kept her distance.

She also recently jetted off to a luxurious Italy vacation without her husband.

“If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would,” an insider told Page Six in May, referring to Affleck.

“He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”

Amid the speculation, resurfaced footage from Lopez’s Prime Video documentary, “The Greatest Love Story Never Told,” (now streaming) showcased what their issues may be. In it, Affleck said that he refused to have their relationship broadcast on social media.

“Getting back together, I said, ‘Listen, one of the things I don’t want is a relationship on social media,’” he said in the film.

“Then I sort of realized it’s not a fair thing to ask. It’s sort of like you’re going to marry a boat captain and (you’re like), ‘Well, I don’t like the water.’”

And now, Guzman is recalling how the storm of publicity around Lopez was like a “rocked ship.”

“I did not know what her life entailed until we started doing the promotional stuff for that movie,” he said.
