Derek Jeter rang in his birthday early with his former Yankees teammates at a surprise party orchestrated by his wife, Hannah Jeter.
Taking to his Instagram, the Yankees legend, who turns 50 on Wednesday, shared photos from the bash — which took place at ZZ’s Club New York, a private membership club from Major Food Group inside Hudson Yards.
The couple, who are fairly private about their relationship and home life, were cozied up together in a rare PDA snap the Hall of Fame shortstop shared to his Instagram Story.
“Great night celebrating thank you @hannahbjeter,” Jeter wrote.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, who looked beautiful in a black strapless dress by Prada, wrapped her arms around Jeter’s neck while he held a cocktail in his left hand.
Jeter also shared photos of his surprised reaction when Hannah escorted him into the private party space.
“When @hannahbjeter surprised me with an early bday party!” he wrote.
The couple posed for photos with his parents, Sanderson and Dorothy Jeter, and his sister, Sharlee Jeter.
Jeter was all smiles with former Yankees teammates CC Sabathia, Tino Martinez, Jorge Posada and Bernie Williams, as well as former team manager Joe Torre.
The private party featured cuisine by Carbone, including their famous favorites: caesar salad, spicy rigatoni vodka, Mario’s meatballs, chicken parmesan sliders and grandma bread.
Guests also enjoyed Cincoro Tequila.
Derek and Hannah tied the knot in July 2016.
The couple share daughters Bella Raine, 6, Story Grey, 5, River Rose, 2, and son, Kaius, whom they welcomed in May 2023.
Jeter gushed over being a father during an appearance on the “Calm Down” podcast with Fox Sports personalities Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson last December.
“Seeing them grow,” he said, referring to his favorite part about being a dad. “Watching them learn [and display manners], that is the thing … I love coming home and them learning new things.”
Jeter added that “things are all over the place,” but he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Hannah and their daughters, Story and Bella, were sitting front and center when Jeter — a five-time World Series champion, World Series MVP (2000) and 14-time MLB All-Star — was honored at his Baseball Hall of Fame ceremony in 2021.
