Nicholas Bazigos has health problems and difficulty walking.
Laval police have deployed a command post, a search boat and their canine unit in an effort to locate Nicholas Bazigos, 83, who was last seen on June 17.
A command post was set up Thursday morning at 5226 Samson Blvd. in the city’s Chomedey district as police attempt to gather information on his disappearance.
Bazigos was last seen June 17 when he left his home in Chomedey. He has health problems and difficulty walking and his family is concerned for his safety. He is known to travel on foot or use public transit.
Bazigos is a white francophone who stands about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 70 pounds. He has a shaved head and brown eyes.
