An anti-Israel maniac’s attack on Boulder: Letters to the Editor — June 3, 2025

The Issue: A terror attack in Boulder, Colo., targets a group walking for Israeli hostages.

Two Israeli Embassy employees were recently murdered in cold blood and now the same violence has taken place in Boulder (“Burning with hate for Jews,” June 2).

The nightmare of horrors past have come to life again.

As a member of the Next Generation Leaders Board at the US Holocaust Museum, I call on every American to join me in standing with the Jewish people. It will take time and energy, but it is a fight we cannot afford to lose.

Visit Holocaust museums, call your Jewish friends, donate to Jewish charities and read classic accounts of Holocaust history. You will see that our actions today can determine the course of posterity for generations to come.

On the same day The Post ran a lengthy story titled “Mission Drift” (Kathryn Wolf, PostScript, June 1) in which the largest Jewish advocacy groups were singled out for PR failures in defending Jews, there was a “firebombing” at an outside gathering in Boulder, Colo.

It’s time that major Jewish organizations stopped dodging their responsibilities as spokesmen for the faith and recoiled at the mistaken notion that Jews are evil, too powerful and rich or that the IDF slaughters helpless Arabs without cause.

I am praying for the families and victims of the horrific attack in Boulder. We must stand in unwavering solidarity with the Jewish community and swiftly bring these terrorists to justice.

Here we go again with Democrats’ political platitudes. Every time there is an antisemitic attack, they say hate has no place in this country.

Yet it seems the Democratic Party has no problem calling President Trump Hitler or a Nazi. That rhetoric helps to promote more hatred from fringe lunatics.

I, for one, resent hearing the word Nazi used so frequently.

Another attack on innocent Jews exercising their civil rights, this time in Boulder, Colo. — and the progressive police would not even call it a targeted terrorist attack, despite the FBI calling it such.

There is no room for this behavior in the United States. We don’t have to destroy ourselves in an effort to protect those who propagate hate and violence. That is not required in our Constitution.

It’s time for organizations like the Anti-Defamation League and the American Jewish Committee to protect American Jewry and not espouse progressive causes.

The Issue: The end of Elon Musk’s special government employment after 130 days of DOGE.

With his slash-and burn-approach to better government, Elon Musk revealed his true character (“Elon’s gone after 130 days,” May 31).

With his words and deeds, he ruined countless lives. None of this had to be done, but Musk thought it did. He will now just move on to his next challenge while others just try to survive.

Don’t look back, Elon: You may not like what you see . . . or maybe you will.

All in all, Musk’s time in the White House was about as successful as his most recent rocket launch. Instead of a $2 trillion savings event, it turned out to be more like billions.

He leaves DC with a black eye, a blow to his inflated ego and a substantial loss in the stock market.
