Three toughest games
Week 8 at Eagles
The Real House of Horrors for the Giants is their closest road venue. They have lost 12 consecutive games at Lincoln Financial Field, and the Super Bowl champion Eagles have never been more formidable. And, oh yeah, Saquon Barkley still wears green.
Week 3 vs. Chiefs
We have seen for years that the Giants are usually not ready for prime time. The Chiefs are the NFL’s prime-time darlings, totally comfortable playing in the spotlight. A Sunday night game is no big deal for Patrick Mahomes and Co., coming off a 15-2 regular season and a Super Bowl loss to the Eagles. Maybe Taylor Swift departs her Tribeca townhouse to go see Travis Kelce across the river.
Week 12 at Lions
Dan Campbell started his NFL playing career with the Giants, and the toughness he showed as a rough-and-tumble tight end is on display with the way he coaches his Lions team. Playing inside Ford Field is quite a challenge now that the home team is a legit NFC powerhouse.
