In the weeks before Kohberger allegedly sneaked into an off-campus rental in Moscow, Idaho, and stabbed four students to death, he searched for dozens of photos of female students from Washington State and the University of Idaho in swimsuits. Pictures from some of those accounts were of pals or followers of Xana Kernodle, Kaylee Concalves and Madison Mogen, who were butchered in the middle of the night on Nov. 13, 2022.

Kernodle’s boyfriend, Ethan Chapin, was also stabbed to death while sleeping — his legs “carved” with a blade, NBC News said.

In late September, Kohberger, who was a Ph.D. student in criminology from Washington State University, searched terms such as “Sociopathic Traits in College Student” and pornography containing keywords “drugged” and “sleeping,” the outlet said.

In October, he also searched “Can Psychopaths behave prosocially?” and in the days following the murders searched for “University of Idaho Murders,” the outlet reported.
