Seth Rollins-Paul Heyman alliance ends Roman Reigns era at WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 1 that left room for improvement

WWE gave us the big finish worthy of a WrestleMania after a night that had too many things that just didn’t quite meet the level of the company’s show of shows.

Paul Heyman was the real snake in the garden, turning on CM Punk and Roman Reigns in the main event and aligning himself with a victorious Seth Rollins for the first time in the main event of WrestleMania 41 Night 1 in front of an announced sellout crowd of 61,467 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

It was the highlight of a strong close to the show as Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton delivered arguably the match of the night in the contest prior. The rest of the night was fairly predicable with nothing egregiously wrong. But it felt like WWE could have gotten even more out of Jey Uso’s emotional championship win.

Here are five takeaways from a Night 1 of WrestleMania that leaves room for improvement on Sunday.
