Tyreek Hill was holding his daughter on the balcony of his high-rise condominium in Sunny Isles Beach, Fla. during a reported domestic dispute with his wife Keeta Hill on Monday, as seen in footage obtained by by Local 10 News.
The All-Pro Dolphins receiver was seen wearing a white tank top while holding their 5-month-old daughter, Capri, and looking over the edge of the 35th-floor balcony of his residence.
The Sunny Isles Beach Police Department responded to a report of an “assault in progress” just before 2 p.m. after Keeta’s mother, Alesia Vaccaro, called 911 because she said she feared for her daughter’s safety, according to an incident report.
Vaccaro — who described the 31-year-old Hill as “very aggressive and impulsive” with “anger issues” — said she called police after she witnessed him throw a laptop on the floor and walk toward the balcony with her granddaughter.
According to police, Keeta said she told Hill that he wasn’t involved enough with their daughter and that he grabbed their daughter “without malice.”
The police report stated Hill admitted to grabbing the baby.
“I have the same rights as a father as her as a mother, and I can take my baby whenever I want,” Hill said.
Hill returned to the apartment from training and him and Keeta were discussing therapy when the argument escalated.
Keeta added that their arguments have become more frequent and they were in couples therapy, but it was “not working out.”
Hill and Keeta said things did not turn physical.
Police said the couple’s daughter appeared to be in good health, adding they did notice Keeta had a bruise on her upper chest.
There were no arrests made and Hill left the condo around 2:40 p.m., police said.
Keeta filed for divorce one day after the incident, according to county records.
The couple attended the 2025 Miami Open at Hard Rock Stadium last month.
Hill made headlines multiple times last year for incidents off the field.
He was handcuffed by Miami-Dade police during a traffic stop ahead of a season-opening victory against the Jaguars last September.
The wideout, who played in the opener and scored an 80-yard touchdown, received two citations as a result of his traffic stop, including careless driving and a seatbelt violation — which were later dropped.
In January 2024, Hill denied the couple was divorcing after public court records showed he filed for divorce.
The next month, influencer Sophie Hall filed a lawsuit in Broward County accusing Hill of fracturing her right leg after shoving her during a football drill.
Hill and Keeta tied the knot during Miami’s bye week in November 2023, after the pair had been engaged since July 2021.
Hill and the Dolphins agreed to a three-year contract worth $90 million last August. He has been the subject of trade rumors since the end of the season.
“On Monday, we were informed that the police were called to Tyreek Hill’s home, and after conversations with Tyreek and members of his family, the police departed the residence without further incident and the case was closed,” the Dolphins said in a statement on Wednesday. “We have since been in communication with Tyreek and the NFL and will have no further comment on the matter.”
