A married Army Reserve lieutenant colonel with a job as a DEI specialist has led a double life — running a secret X account where he posted gay porn of himself in uniform, including while he was deployed overseas, The Post can reveal.
Lt. Col. Adam Harmon, 44, an equal opportunity adviser and diversity, equity and inclusion professional in the military, has been a successful DEI lawyer at white-shoe firms Foley Hoag and WilmerHale, and is happily married to a decorated US Army Reserve Lt. Col. Peter Bennett.
Both men are graduates of the US Military Academy at West Point.
But on his alt X account “franzkafka2007,” Harmon shared workplace fantasies, self-generated X-rated content and lurid propositions for the past six years — posting as recently as November 2024.
When confronted about the account, Harmon said he regrets bringing “embarrassment to the Army.”

“Serving this country in uniform for 24 years has been the greatest honor of my life. That’s why I am deeply sorry for the lapse in judgment that brought embarrassment to the Army, my unit and myself,” Harmon told The Post in a statement.
“This occurred during an especially lonely chapter of my life, but I take full responsibility. I believe in accountability, in learning from our mistakes and in using them as a path to growth — and that’s exactly what I intend to do here.”
Harmon, who is categorized as a military intelligence officer by the US Army Reserve, left his fingerprints all over the racy X account — which has since been deleted — despite it being supposedly anonymous.
In one instance from December 2022, he shared a vacation photo of himself in a Speedo on his personal Instagram account that revealed his unique right-arm tattoo — and cross-posted the same image for his 800-plus followers on his illicit X account.
In September 2023, he shared a pic of three sex toys with a photo of a military cap featuring his lieutenant colonel insignia.

Harmon also posted two videos showing himself masturbating in uniform, though his face is hidden from view. One shows him sitting in a chair in the middle of what appears to be a barracks. Both clips garnered a few dozen likes each.
“A few guys have been very into f–king me in uniform lately so why not,” Harmon captioned a photo showing his naked rear hanging out of his camo in August 2023. The image was shared on both of his X accounts.
In possibly the most egregious example of indiscretion, the senior officer posted a graphic image of himself, timestamped in the United Arab Emirates in November 2024, in which he poses bent over on a lush hotel bed with his shorts pulled down below his naked rump.
“I have this stupid big room in Dubai on the Palm and no one to top me,” he lamented in the caption.
Homosexuality is illegal in the United Arab Emirates and is punishable by imprisonment. This post occurred during a period in which Harmon was officially stationed in Kuwait, a deployment which ended on Jan. 16, according to US Army Reserve records.
The lieutenant colonel also shared two blushworthy sex pics of himself taken by other men — one in which he performs fellatio. Neither post identifies the other man as his husband.
Harmon also posted two raunchy photos of a man whom he identifies as his husband, Peter Bennett, who has been awarded the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Combat Action Badge and 15 other decorations during his service, according to Army Reserve records.
Bennett and the Army Reserves declined to comment.
The couple was featured in a glowing 2011 Huffington Post profile that documented their post-Don’t Ask Don’t Tell repeal marriage.

‘Whole bunch’ of violations
Sean Timmons, former Captain in the US Army JAG Corps, told The Post that the account likely violates several military rules and could be construed as a national security risk.
“They could throw the book at this individual. For something this egregious, they could go for a court-martial,” Timmons said.
“Right off the top, Conduct Unbecoming Article 133, because that would be behavior that is not in accordance with being an officer and a gentleman,” said Timmons, adding, “Lewd conduct, indecent behavior, service discrediting, violation of lawful orders.

“There’s a whole bunch of rules being violated here. There’s probably even more.”
Timmons added that Harmon’s account and posts also appear to violate security clearance guideline D, which sets standards about sexual behavior amongst those seeking any level of security clearance.
“He could be facing extortion from the enemy for this coming out publicly. He could compromise secrets and confidential information in exchange for not having this behavior exposed. So he should have his security clearance reviewed and possibly revoked,” he explained.
Timmons added that Lt. Col. Bennett could also face similar ramifications.
Through his reps, Harmon confirmed that he was let go from his job on Thursday after the illicit account was revealed by The Post.
