Get your air banjoes ready.
Billy Strings recently added another leg to his 2025 tour, which now stretches into the summer.
Based on our findings, the bluegrass icon doesn’t have any shows in New York or New Jersey lined up on this forthcoming run. Instead, he’ll hit venues all over the West Coast, Midwest and Southwest from April through August on his solo run and Outlaw Music Festival shows with co-headliners Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan.
And, while one might assume he’d focus on cuts from his 2024 album “Highway Prayers” while road tripping, a little research on Set List FM shows that the gifted picker switches things up most nights playing classic covers, select tracks from the recently-released record and a handful of tunes from his sizable back catalog.
Unlike most artists, you really never know what you’re going to get when it comes to a Billy Strings show.
If you want to be there to catch one of his unpredictable, freewheeling sets live, tickets are available for all upcoming concerts as of today.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets was $23 before fees on Vivid Seats.
Other shows have seats starting anywhere from $27 to $506 before fees.
For more information, our team has everything you need to know and more about Billy Strings’ 2025 tour below.
All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation.

Billy Strings new music
On Sept. 27, 2024, Strings released his sixth studio album “Highway Prayers.”
As expected, the ever-prolific 32-year-old went all out on the rousing record. Clocking in at 74 minutes, “Highway Prayers” wastes nary a second of the listener’s time. Opening track “Leaning on a Travelin’ Song” is a masterclass in pickin’ and harmonies. It’s a good time and would make the perfect soundtrack for a montage in a road trip movie.
After that, the rollicking offering rolls right along with the energetic yet wistful “In The Clear,” longing, instrumental ‘Escanaba” and chilled-out “Gild The Lily.”
Don’t stop there, though. The album continues delivering the goods all the way to the epic final track “Richard Petty,” which just so happens to be a showstopping a cappella spiritual.
If you’d like to hear the lively record for yourself, you can listen to “Highway Prayers” here.
