BetMGM bonus code POSTBET: Nottingham Forest vs. Manchester United odds, prediction

It’s been a dream season for Nottingham Forest. It’s been a nightmare for Manchester United.

The Tricky Trees were expected to be fighting to avoid relegation at this point in the campaign, but instead are in a prime position to qualify for the Champions League for the first time since 1980.

Manchester United, meanwhile, were projected to contend for a spot in the Champions League this season but find themselves in 13th place and 17 points behind Forest with less than 10 matches remaining on their schedule.

Nottingham Forest vs. Manchester United betting preview

Manchester United has been in turmoil for years, but things look to be at a breaking point. The Red Devils are likely headed for a bottom-half finish, and there’s not anything that suggests better days are ahead of them.

New manager Ruben Amorim was supposed to breathe some new life into Old Trafford after Erik Ten Hag’s dubious tenure, but it’s been more of the same for the Red Devils under the Portuguese.

United’s underlying numbers under Amorim have been underwhelming, and their results are not any better.

Nottingham Forest vs. Manchester United pick

Nottingham Forest has ridden some luck in this stunning season, but this is also a composed, savvy side that doesn’t make many mistakes.

The Tricky Trees have bought into Nuno Espirito Santo’s pragmatic way of playing, and it looks like that will get them into the Champions League, against all odds.

Manchester United went into the international break on a four-match unbeaten streak, but three of those games came against teams below them in the table, so I remain unconvinced this team has figured it out.

A well-drilled team like Forest should match up well against a disjointed, uninspired Manchester United side, especially since this is a meaningless contest for the Red Devils.

The Pick: Nottingham Forest -1.5 (+350)
