Elon Musk claims he’s paid Ashley St. Clair $2.5 million, even though he’s still questioning the paternity of her baby boy.
“I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out. No court order is needed,” Musk, 53, commented on a video on X showing St. Clair selling her Tesla.
“Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5M and am sending her $500k/year.”
In response, St. Clair posted on X, “Elon, we asked you to confirm paternity through a test before our child (who you named) was even born. You refused. And you weren’t sending *me* money, you were sending support for your child that you thought was necessary… until you withdrew most of it to maintain control and punish me for ‘disobedience.’ But you’re really only punishing your son.”
The conservative influencer, 26, went on, “It’s ironic that your last effort in court was to try to gag me while you use a social media channel you literally own to distribute derogatory messages about me and our child to the entire world. It’s all about control with you, and everyone can see it.”
She concluded, “America needs you to grow up, you petulant man-child.”
Over the weekend, paparazzi caught St. Clair offloading her $100,000 car.
As she handed over the keys to her black Model S to a representative of an auto sales company, she claimed, “I’m selling it because I need to make up for the 60 percent cut Elon made to our son’s child support.”
When a pap asked why the Tesla CEO would have done that, St. Clair replied, “That’s a great question for him.”
The pap then asked whether Musk was being “vindictive” toward the political activist, to which she responded, “Yeah, that’s his modus operandi when women speak out.”
She went on to claim that the X owner stopped communicating with her after Feb. 13 — the day before she publicly claimed he had fathered her now-6-month-old son but couldn’t “be counted on” to “act consistently in the role of a father.”
When the pap asked how she feels Musk has been handling the paternity and custody disputes, St. Clair said with a smile, “You can check the stocks; I am not the only one who is cleaning up after his messes.”
Earlier this month, St. Clair alleged that Musk had slashed her child support after she sued him for sole legal custody.
“Elon Musk has financially retaliated against his own child and reduced his financial support substantially and unilaterally,” her legal team told People.
“He did this after Ashley was forced to bring this matter to court, when he refused to respond to her many private attempts to resolve this matter without publicity.”
St. Clair’s attorneys also called out the SpaceX founder for allegedly filing “an emergency application to gag Ashley and prevent her from communicating about his actions,” which they said the judge denied, “even though it is still pending.”
They continued, “Ashley is vigorously opposing this application in order to preserve her right to speak out — all while Mr. Musk fashions himself a First Amendment warrior and freely communicates via his owned social media platform.”
St. Clair’s lawyers concluded, “Given that Mr. Musk is dedicated to transparency in government, it would be helpful if he administered his own life by the same principles.”
The author explained in her lawsuit that she’s confident Musk — who has 13 other kids — is the father of her baby because she “did not have sexual intercourse with any other male during the time the child was conceived.”
She included a photo she had sent the tech tycoon that showed her holding her newborn at the hospital, to which he allegedly replied, “I look forward to seeing you and him this weekend.”
Musk then allegedly texted her in November 2024, “I want to knock you up again,” and allegedly reiterated a similar sentiment as recently as Feb. 2, saying, “Well, we do have a legion of kids to make.”
The pair’s spicy online exchanges — in which they publicly alluded to different sex positions — have since resurfaced.
