Catch all the Madness: How to watch 2025 Women’s NCAA Basketball Tournament

The men’s tournament is already underway, but women’s March Madness gets started tonight, March 19.

The 2025 Women’s NCAA Basketball Tournament begins with the First Four play-in round, where two No. 11 seeds and two No. 16 seeds will be decided. From there, the field of 64 teams will be narrowed down until just one team is left standing.

This year’s No. 1 seeded teams are UCLA, who are looking for their first-ever trip to the Final Four; South Carolina, where Dawn Staley could win her fourth title as head coach; USC, earning a No. 1 seed for the second tournament in a row; and Texas, also retaining their top seeding from last year.

Locally, the Columbia University Lions made the tournament for the second year in a row; after losing to Vanderbilt by just four points in one of last year’s First Four games, they’ll battle for a No. 11 seed in a First Four matchup with Washington.

After the First Four, the Round of 64 will kick off on Friday, March 21. Every game will be televised across five different channels; here’s how to make sure you don’t miss a game.
