Target these pitchers in fantasy baseball to fill out depth behind aces

Everyone and their mother will likely enter this year’s fantasy draft targeting Paul Skenes.

Maybe you’re the lucky one who will get to shout Skenes’ name and make the young Pirate the ace of your squad. Maybe you’ll miss out, but you still have a shot to land Tarik Skubal, Zack Wheeler or Logan Gilbert. But what’s next?

Whether it’s Skenes or another ace, they can’t carry your rotation alone. You will need help, and there’s plenty available — especially in the later rounds.

An elbow issue in 2024 limited Cleveland’s Gavin Williams to 16 starts in which he went an uninspiring 3-10 with a 4.86 ERA, 9.6 percent walk rate and 1.37 WHIP.
