Cam Thomas expected to miss rest of Nets’ season with hamstring injury

The Nets will be without one of their top stars for the rest of the season.

Cam Thomas suffered a left hamstring strain during Thursday’s 116-10 loss to the Bulls and is expected to miss the remainder of the campaign given the number of games remaining (16) and time needed to recuperate, the team announced before a clash with the Celtics at Barclays Center on Saturday.

Thomas, 23, has played in just 25 games for the Nets this season averaging 24 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists.
