At least five people — including an infant and another child — were killed in a devastating crash involving 17 vehicles in Texas late Thursday night, according to reports.
The Austin crash, which included semi-trucks, also killed three adults and injured 11 people – with four adults and one child left fighting for their lives, KXAN reported.
The crash happened on Interstate 35 just after 11:20 p.m., with police closing all southbound lanes of the interstate as emergency responders responded to the mass-casualty accident.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
