Julia Fox is taking the office siren aesthetic to a whole new level.
On Wednesday, the actress hit the red carpet at the SXSW premiere of her new film, “Idiotka,” co-starring Camila Mendes.
Fox turned heads in Austin, Texas, as she posed in a cutout Bonnetje dress, which she paired with black pointed-toe pumps, platinum pixie-cut hair, and a moody, gray lipstick.
At closer glance, the black maxi dress is actually made from “carefully selected vintage suit jacket sleeves,” which have been sewn to a wool back panel and tied together in the front, per the brand’s website.
Dubbed the “Tied Sleeves Dress,” the upcycled artisanal piece retails for $5,200.
While the knotted sleeves were carefully positioned to cover most of her body, the best-selling author showed swaths of skin on her thighs and abs with the strapless gown.
The DIY design is much more modest than the completely see-through dress Fox donned to the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party earlier this month.
At the event, she channeled Botticelli’s “Birth of Venus” in the Dilara Fındıkoğlu design, with strategically placed mermaid hair cascading into her outfit.
Whatever’s next for Fox, she never has a boring red carpet moment.
