‘Fortunate’ Blake Lively raves about ‘Another Simple Favor’ co-stars after ‘fun’ break from Justin Baldoni legal battle

Blake Lively appeared to have a “fun” break from her legal drama with Justin Baldoni at SXSW.

Taking to Instagram Wednesday, the actress gushed over reuniting with her fellow “Another Simple Favor” cast members at the Texas-based festival last week.

“Final Austin roundup for @asimplefavor 🤠 I know how fortunate I am to work with each of you,” Lively captioned her photo dump, which featured pics of co-stars Michele Morrone and Anna Kendrick and director Paul Feig. “Thank you to my friends and loved ones for making this weekend so special. Ok. Back to sweatpants now. That was fun. ☺️.”

Lively, 37, shared the sentiment after returning home from the SXSW premiere of “Another Simple Favor,” which was held at the Paramount Theatre in Austin last Friday night.

“Watching @asimplefavor opening night @sxsw felt like a rock concert,” the “Gossip Girl” alum wrote in another Instagram post, shared Tuesday.

“Thank you to the very best audience. Texas turns it out. Making this movie was already the gift, every element of it. To share it with you all and feel the love returned to us was the best feeling.”

As Page Six previously reported, Likely walked the red carpet in a Renée Masoomian latex dress with black high heels and matching accessories.

Eyewitnesses told us that the actress appeared “happy” and “unbothered” at the event amid ongoing interest over her legal drama with Baldoni.

However, some fans questioned whether there might be some tension brewing between Lively and Kendrick due to the “Pitch Perfect” star’s response to an interview question.

When a reporter from “Entertainment Tonight” asked Kendrick what it was like to be “working with Blake again,” the actress looked to the side and cryptically replied, “Oh, you know…” before quickly walking away to take selfies with fans.

“Another Simple Favor” director Feig quickly shut down any rumors of a feud via X, however, after a YouTuber claimed Lively appeared “terrified” and Kendrick looked “pissed” at the premiere.

“Um … you’re wrong,” he stated.

Reps for Lively and Kendrick did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment at the time.

“Another Simple Favor” — which is a sequel to 2018’s “A Simple Favor” — marks the first film Lively has promoted since her feud with Baldoni erupted during their “It Ends With Us” press tour last summer.

Lively filed a bombshell complaint (followed by an official lawsuit) against Baldoni, 41, in December 2024 over allegations that he sexually harassed her and made her feel “uncomfortable” while filming the movie.

The “Age of Adaline” actress further accused the director and his team of crisis publicists of creating a smear campaign against her.

Baldoni has vehemently denied Lively’s allegations and subsequently filed his own $400 million defamation and extortion lawsuit against Lively, her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist, Leslie Sloane.

The “Jane the Virgin” actor has continued defending his name by creating a website with a timeline of events and alleged text messages between himself and Lively.

The former co-stars will face off over their respective lawsuits in a trial set for March 2026.
