Multiple protesters were arrested at a Tesla showroom in Manhattan on Saturday, cops said.
Video posted to social media showed one demonstrator being dragged out of the Washington Street showroom by police, and the glass door of the facility appeared to have been shattered.
Protesters outside the showroom were chanting: “We need clean air, not another billionaire!” Tesla is owned by White House advisor Elon Musk.
Police were unable to immediately say how many were arrested or what charges they would face.
Hundreds of protesters were at the showroom, where Tesla’s can cost more than $100,000.
